Private Christian, classical, collaborative school (PreK-12th grade)

Are you ready to be outdoors? The track season is fast approaching.  Below are some things you need to know in order to “run the race” at FCA.

  • Track is offered through the spring to kindergarten through 12th grade student-athletes. 
  • Track is one of the only sports we offer that is NOT split by grade.
  • Long-season athletes are those who are 13 years old on or before September 1, 2023, or older.
    • Location for practices does vary between Staley High School, the Police Academy, and FCA.
  • Short-season athletes are those who are kindergarten through 12 years old.
    • All practices for short-season athletes will be held at Staley High School, 2800 Northeast Shoal Creek Parkway, Kansas City, MO 64156 with a few practices at FCA.
  • FCA has young men and women participating in all aspects of this sport including races, relays, throws, and jumps.

How To Register (Long-Season Athletes)

Step One:Complete and return a registration form for each athlete by Friday, February 23, 2024.
Step Two:Complete a sports physical form* by the first practice, Tuesday, February 27, 2024. Only long-season athletes are required to provide a completed sports physical form.
Step Three:Complete the payment plan form or pay in full at or before the first practice, Tuesday, February 27, 2024.

How to Register (Short-Season Athletes)

Step One:Complete and return a registration form for each athlete by Wednesday, March 13, 2024.
Step Two:Complete the payment plan form or pay in full at or before the first practice

*FCA Knights’ athletic program is no longer able to offer a free sports physical clinic.

Cost

Long Season (6th/7th-12th grade)

First athlete$300
Second athlete$280
Third athlete and all subsequent athletes$260

Short Season (K-5th/6th grade)

First athlete $170
Second athlete $150
Third athlete and all subsequent athletes $130

*Registration fees cover all expenses for the season including home meet passes, formal photos, and uniforms. Registration fees do not include out-of-town trips or optional purchases (t-shirts, spirit wear, etc.).

Methods of payment include FACTS ACH, cash, check, or email knightsad@fcaclassical.com for a PayPal link. Paying by PayPal does increase the amount by 3% to cover fees. Make checks payable to Faith Christian Academy or FCA. Please note the athlete’s name and sport on the memo line. Mail checks to Faith Christian Academy, Attention: Athletic Director, 4330 NW Cookingham Dr., Kansas City, MO 64164.
