Are you ready to be outdoors? The track season is fast approaching. Below are some things you need to know in order to “run the race” at FCA.
- Track is offered through the spring to 2nd-grade through 12th-grade student-athletes.
- Long-season athletes are 6-12th grade.
- Location for practices does vary between Platte Purchase Middle School, Plaza Middle School, and FCA.
- Middle School Track and Field will begin one week after the high school, on March 9th.
- Middle School Track and Field will have a mandatory parent meeting on Monday, February 23rd at 4:05pm @ FCA.
- Short-season athletes are 2nd-5th grade.
- All practices for short-season athletes will be held at Platte Purchase (9400 N Platte Purchase Dr, Kansas City, MO) or Plaza Middle School (6501 NW 72nd St, Kansas City, MO 64151), with a few practices at FCA.
- The short season track and field team will have a mandatory parent meeting @ FCA on Monday, March 9th, at 3:45 pm in the gym.
- FCA has young men and women participating in all aspects of this sport including races, relays, throws, and jumps.

How To Register (Long-Season Athletes)

How to Register (Short-Season Athletes)
| Step One: | Complete a registration form for each athlete by Friday, March 7th, 2025. |
| Step Two: | Attend the mandatory parents meeting @ FCA on Monday, March 10th @ 3:30pm. |
| Step Three: | Complete a sports physical form* by the first practice, Monday, March 24th, 2025. Only grades 7-8 athletes are required to provide a completed sports physical form by this date. |

Long Season (9th-12th grade)

| Second athlete | $305 |
| Third athlete and all subsequent athletes | $285 |
Short Season (K-8th grade)
| First athlete | $175 |
| Second athlete | $165 |
| Third athlete and all subsequent athletes | $155 |
*Registration fees cover all expenses for the season including home meet passes, formal photos, and uniforms. Registration fees do not include out-of-town trips or optional purchases (t-shirts, spirit wear, etc.).
Payments will be collected via FACTS ACH.
